Step 1: Indoor or Outdoor

ICC’s LED video walls provide your company, venue or project, the visibility and versatility you want. Select between two main series: Optical Precision or Optical Extreme Series: Optical Precision Series: Indoor High Resolution LED walls ideal for displaying detailed videos and images, important data/analytics such as in command centers, and detailed marketing advertisements. Optical Extreme Series: Ideal for Outdoor installations with further viewing distances and built to withstand extreme weather conditions from hot to cold, rain, snow or shine.

Step 6: Order & Installation / Setup

Professionally Installed & Configured: ICC’s Experienced engineers end technicians ensure proper installation and setup of your new LED Video Displays such that they work as expected and are installed safely. Want customized preset layouts for different applications on the same LED wall? No problem! Our team will work with you and handle complete setup and installation from start to finish! Let ICC Help Bring Your Creative Vision to Life!

Step 2: Pixel Density

What is Pixel Density (Pitch or PPI): Pixel density is the number of pixels in a unit area of a video wall, and it's determined by the display unit's screen dimensions and native resolution. Pixel density remains the same regardless of the video wall's layout or size. Pixel pitch refers to the density of pixels A smaller pixel pitch indicates higher pixel density and thus higher resolution display Pixel pitch is an extremely important parameter/spec when deciding on viewing distance. The smaller the pixel pitch, the closer the viewing distance and more detailed content.

Step 3: Deciding Overall Size of Displays

There are several factors to consider when choosing what overall size you want your LED Display to be.

Ultimately this will come down to your preference and venue limitations, but the below questions can help

get you started.

How many viewers/crowd size? What is the content being displayed (text, pictures, video)? Overall Impact desired?

Step 5: Approving Customized Engineered Drawings

Professionally Engineereed: At ICC we provide turn-key CAD drawings for your specific application

requirements. We ensure your sign off on any customized design layouts prior to any material shipped or

installation scheduled so there are no last minute surprises.

Step 4: Layout Design (Curved, Standard, Funky Shape?)

Each venue and application have different size and layout constraints. Perhaps a curved display is needed?

Or a unique shape that works around windows, or just a funky shape to make that “WOW” factor! What

about Wall Mount vs Pole Mount or a Hanging Display? At ICC, we’ve designed both standard applications

for Billboard signage, Command Centers, Hotel Bars and Restaurants to crazy shapes like an Inverted T or the

letter “S”. Speak with an engineer to discuss your desired layout.

Pixel Pitch Minimum Viewing Distance Optimal Viewing Distance 0.9mm 2ft 11in (0.9m) 6-10ft (2-3m) 1.25mm 4ft 1in (1.25m) 6-13ft (2-4m) 1.56mm 5ft 1in (1.56m) 10-17ft (3-5m) 1.875mm 6ft 2in (1.87m) 10-17ft (3-5m) 2.5mm 8ft 2in (2.5m) 17-26ft (5-8m) 3.9mm 12ft 10in (3.9m) 26-39ft (8-12m) 4.8mm 15ft 9in (4.8m) 32-49ft (10-15m) 5.9mm 19ft 4in (5.9m) 43-59ft (13-18m) 8.3mm 27ft 3in (8.3m) 49-66ft (15-20m) 10.4mm 34ft 1in (10.4m) 66-99ft (20-30m) *NOTE: Viewing distances really depend on content displayed and vision of viewer. Maximum distances not shown above as this really depends on content being displayed. Distances above are calculated based on 20/20 vision.
